A 46 year old man with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus attends his review. His Haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) has risen to 61mmol/mol despite diet change, exercise and Metformin. He has a past medical history of bladder cancer but no other medical conditions. He asks you not to prescribe anything which risks hypoglycaemia due to his job.
