A 70 year old patient with a history of Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension presents with a 1 week history of frank painless haematuria. He is on the following medications; Metformin, Gliclazide, Amlodipine, Pioglitazone, Ramipril and Atorvastatin. His latest HbA1c is 68 and his blood pressure is 139/72. An urgent referral is made to urology.
