Oliver is 25 years old and works as a chef and presents to the GP with left hip pain which started gradually over the last two weeks. He feels it is impacting his work and appears anxious that he may lose his job.
On examination you notice that he has lateral hip pain, point tenderness adjacent to the greater trochanter, and a positive Trendelenburg test. You diagnose Greater Trochanteric pain syndrome.
