Lisa is 29 years old and is 10 weeks pregnant with her first baby. She attends the GP surgery as she is struggling with nausea and vomiting for the last week. She has tried various measures such as ginger, small bland meals and drinking fluids little and often. However, she is still finding it very hard to tolerate full meals but is snacking during the day. She is passing urine well despite vomiting around 5 times daily and has been unable to work as a hairdresser. There is no abdominal pain, dysuria, or fever. She is very keen to try some medication. Past medical history is unremarkable.
On examination, her observations are normal, and a urine dip is clear of infection and ketones.
What would be the best management option?
