Mr Clarke is a 42 year old male who presents to his GP surgery following an episode of chest pain over the weekend (48hours ago). Mr Clarke explained that he was playing football with his children when he developed a sharp pain in his chest which radiated to his neck and was associated with nausea and sweating. He sat down and drank some water and noticed that the pain subsided over about 45minutes. Though he was concerned about what had been causing the pain, he felt it was probably related to some food he had eaten so did not seek any medical attention. He has never had any similar episodes before. His wife remains concerned and has asked him to see the GP. From reviewing his notes, you can see that he is a smoker and has a BMI of 29.
