Jasmine attends with her 4 month old baby as she has noticed Maya has been having diarrhoea for the last month. She will often bring up most of her feed around 2 hours after breastfeeding. Her health visitor has not been concerned given weight is being maintained along the 50th centile and has encouraged Jasmine to continue to exclusively breastfeed. Maya also has very dry skin and you are told there is often a rash around the anal area. On examination, observations are stable, abdominal examination is unremarkable and you observe this red rash.
