A new robot assisted shoulder replacement technique is being tested to see if there are less prosthesis misalignment rates with the new technique. 100 patients had the new operation technique and out of these patients 4 ended up with some degree of prosthesis misalignment. Another 100 patients had the old technique and 10 patients from this cohort developed prosthesis misalignment.
