Maria is 25 years old and presents with a history of shortness of breath and chest tightness. She states she has Asthma but has only just restarted her corticosteroid inhaler (ICS) in the past few weeks when she suffered a viral illness. However she still has a dry cough. Her symptoms are disturbing her sleep and are more noticeable on exertion. She has never smoked.

On examination of the chest you note a polyphonic wheeze in the upper lobes bilaterally. Her respiration rate is 22; all other observations are normal. Her current Peak flow is 380 (best 420).

What would be the most appropriate course of action?
