Angie is 23 years old and presents with generalised abdominal pain, associated with bloating and fatigue for several months. She states she has always struggled to put on weight. She admits to sometimes experiencing diarrhoea, but there is no rectal bleeding. When asked, she was concerned she may have Coeliac disease, as cutting bread from her diet appeared to help her symptoms. Bloods reveal deficiency in Vitamin B12 and Ferritin and mild anaemia. The coeliac screen was negative.
