An 18 year old female presents to the surgery with skin concerns. On examination you note that she has comedones, papules and pustules on her face, upper chest and back. She has no scarring. She also has a history of menorrhagia for which she is taking Tranexamic acid.
Upon further questioning, she tells you that she has recently started a new relationship but has not been sexually active as she feels conscious about her skin.
You make a diagnosis of Acne Vulgaris. What is the most appropriate management option for this patient?
