Mark is a 40 year old contractor who presents with increasing frequency of headaches for the last three months. He complains of getting a headache three to four times a month which can last the whole day. It is like a band across his forehead. There is no associated nausea and vomiting. He has managed to work at his desk-based job with the headache. However, he is worried and would like a CT head to rule out a brain tumour.
What is the most appropriate first line management option for him?
