FAQ’s ABOUT OUR PLAB 2 PRACTICAL COURSE

When should I book the course?

From experience we suggest booking earlier rather than later. You will learn many new skills and approaches that you will be practicing so an earlier attendance means more time to benefit.

Having said this, we have also had doctors attend our PLAB 2 courses 1 or 2 days before their exam and still find it a good final boost before the real day.

We have purposely designed the course so that whenever you choose to attend – early or late – you will leave more confident for the PLAB 2 exam.

How is this course different to others?

With tutors all being previous GMC PLAB 2 examiners, Emergency Medicine doctors or GPs in the NHS, we can focus on helping you through 5 core areas.

1) Principle-based approach – how to adapt to any situation
2) How to remain flexible in a case, whilst still covering core medicine
3) Demonstrating benefits of a holistic approach to a station
4) Principles to help score more marks – what is actually being assessed
5) Improved time management – make the most out of all 8 minutes

Is the Practical course included in the PLAB 2 Gold Pass Package?

Not yet. Currently it is bookable in addition to, or separate to the PLAB 2 Gold Package. Once we start arranging more dates then it will become part of the package.

The PLAB 2 Gold Pass Package is our most comprehensive package to pass PLAB 2, focusing on two core components – knowledge and technique. For more details and doctor reviews click here.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. At checkout you can choose the PayPal option, there will be an option to ‘pay-in-3’. This is only available in some countries.

How often do you run the courses?

We plan to run our Practical Crash Course every 3-4 months.
