Naveen pic -min

Dr Naveen Keerthi

Naveen is an IMG like you all who moved from India.

He is an NHS England’s Clinical Entrepreneur and UCLPartners Innovation Fellow. He completed a mini MBA from Stanford University.

Since coming to the UK he completed MRCS, Dipl in Sports Medicine, USMLE CS CK & MRCEM A&C. Alongside his locum registrar work in orthopaedics & A&E, he works as Silverstone circuit’s race track doctors for Formula 1 and Moto GP races.

During his tenure working in the NHS, Naveen observed that the traditional HR processes caused undue delays for overseas recruitment. Further, mismatched expectations of overseas staff and lack of support from NHS recruiting teams have caused distress to the IMGs. He built the ‘Doc2uk’ platform with a clear intention to address this issue. Doc2uk.com is a framework approved agency that supports personalised placement of post membership doctors (MRCP, MRCEM etc) within the NHS.

Naveen’s experiences as an IMG doctor, working in his home country to working within the NHS, have personalised their recruitment model for the benefit of the future IMG doctors and the NHS.

He will talk at our event about his experiences, the recruitment cycle (he is passionate about it) and a bit about doc2uk.

Adeel Khan

My journey in UK began in 2004, when I came here as a student with mere £1500 in my pocket. I worked my way through university by doing odd jobs, and eventually landed my dream job in the IT industry and worked for Government Agencies like Transport for London, London Borough of Redbridge, HMRC & Environment Agency offices. After spending years in UK, I finally got British citizenship as well.

My journey from just a student to the Founder of ZANS Immigration Consultants and ZANS Group UK Ltd was definitely a roller-coaster one.

However, I strongly believe that if I can achieve all this, then surely you can too!

This is why I established my consultancy firm and formed a team, who have been working for more than 15 years, have provided advices regarding immigration and business-related issues to thousands of individuals. We plan on extending our business to outside UK and Pakistan and will be coming to UAE soon!
