Package access is 6 months from the time of booking the Academy. This includes online video course, audiobooks and flash cards. If doctors need slightly longer than 6 months then we are happy to extend as well.

How long do I get access to material for?

Very simply, as early as possible! There is a lot of material to get through, and there is also no limit to usage. Therefore the earlier that you attend the academy, the more value you will get.

What is the ideal time to book the Academy SMART package?					

Although you have access to material for 6 months, the majority of doctors who purchase our teaching programmes are between 1 and 6 months from their exam date. All material (apart from the 10 days live teaching) is available to use flexibly as and long as you have a plan, you can get through it all in a few weeks if needed. You will certainly cram a lot of knowledge and technique changes into a short period of time – which will definitely help in the exam itself.

My UKMLA PLAB 2 exam is in 4 weeks - is there enough time to use the material?													

Whilst some doctors do choose to have other materials as part of preparation, we have designed this programme to include all that you need – from a knowledge, technique and time management point of view.
Our package is focused on targeting higher marks, making better use of 8 minutes and tackling the more challenging cases.

Do we need other materials apart from this package?													

We regularly update our online courses, audiobooks and flashcards. As soon as we update on our side, you get the updates on your side.

What if clinical guidelines change?													

Firstly, if you go through all of the material then it is very unlikely that you will fail! If you are unlucky not to pass however then we are happy to extend all of the package material until you do pass.
We also offer a meeting to all who fail the exam &#8211; focusing on how to prepare for next time, as well as answering any questions that you may have (please remember for probity reasons we can&#8217;t discuss your specific exam cases).

What if I fail UKMLA PLAB 2?													

Yes. At checkout you can choose the PayPal option, there will be an option to ‘pay-in-3’ by using the &#8216;Pay Later&#8217; button (certain countries only)

Where is the live training held?													

Yes you can. Whilst we recommend to attend in person for the best learning experience and practice, we also livestream the course for those who wish to attend live virtually. You would receive the same material as face-to-face candidates and will be able to ask questions through Zoom.
On screen you will be able to see the day’s slides as well as video coverage of the day’s teaching, demonstrations and role-plays. We also include breakout rooms where you get to do the same live cases as the in-person group.
You would not be able to attend the built-in practice sessions of the academy but you can attend in person at a later date for hands-on practice when in the UK.
You can also split the academy between face-to-face and online – for example you could attend a certain number of days face-to-face and attend the rest online – it is completely up to you.

Can I attend the teaching programme online through livestream?													

Yes you can. You would only need to pay the upgrade amount.
For example if you have the Gold Package, you would pay the difference between the Gold Package amount and the Academy SMART Package.
